I created these pieces while enrolled in a Children's Book Illustration Course through MCAD's Continuing Education programs. Some are based on prompts and some are based on stanzas from published children's books, such as Jane Yolen's Baby Bear's Books and My Grandma's a Ninja by Todd Tarpley. I used traditional media for each piece. Watercolor, gouache, acrylic, and acrylic gouache, with some Sakura Pigma pen lining as well.
